Seseorang di masa kecilnya hidup dengan kepolosannya, merasakan indahnya hidup itu.
Rasa penasaran dan jiwa mudanya membuatnya untuk bergerak dan mengejar cita-citanya.

    But those days are gone now
    Changed like a leaf on a tree
    Blown away forever
    into the cool autumn breeze
    The snow has now fallen
    and my sun's not so bright
    I struggle to hold on
    with the last of my might

    In my den of inequity
    viciousness and subtlety
    struggle to ease the pain
    struggle to find the sane

    Ignorance surrounding me
    I've never been so filled with fear
    All my life's been drained from me

Masa itu telah berlalu, ia pun semakin dewasa dan mendapat banyak rintangan dalam hidupnya.
Ia terus bertahan dalam kesendirian, tanpa ada kepedulian dari sekelilingnya.
Penuh dengan rasa takut, ia merasa inilah akhir perjalanannya.

    I heard him say

Ia teringat masa lalunya. Ia mengalami hal yang menyedihkan.
Sebelum itu ia mendapat sebuah pelajaran berharga dari seseorang.
“Raihlah Hari ini” jangan sia-siakan harimu.

    alive from what I've learned
    I have to seize the day
    To home I returned

    Preparing for her flight
    I held with all my might
    Fearing my deepest fright
    She walked into the night
    She turned for one last look
    She looked me in the eye

Kata-kata itu sangat berarti baginya. Ia pun langsung pulang mencari ibunya tercinta.
Dengan pelukan yang kuat ia mengatakan bahwa ia sangat mencintai ibunya yang akan pergi.
Kata-kata tersebut menjadi kata-kata terakhir yang diucapkannya ke ibunya.
Dimana dihari berikutnya ia mendapatkan berita tentang ibunya yang tewas dalam sebuah kecelakaan.

Ia mendengar suara-suara yang penuh simpati terhadapnya.

Hidup dengan penuh kenangan baik atau pun buruk.
Semuanya harus dilaluinya karena hidup terus berjalan.

Kehidupannya pun berakhir dan kehidupan anaknya mulai.
